Nothing in the physical world is really costant... it only seems like it relative to our perception. If God said let there be light... Then it must have grown from a point, the source, and expanded... It's been proven by scientist that light, radiation etc cannot exists beyond the ether, so the ether moves ahead of the physical matter and utter darkness is beyond that... That darkness is literally the hell of the world where nothing exist in the emptiness beyond the detectable, understandable universe. On the opposite pole is God, the source of all life, energy, and all that is and it's held together by the power of His Word. Thus, when the appointed time ends, all things bow to the Son of God, who's is the very Word of God by which all things are and the sky will roll away like a scroll and a second generation of life will start in Him who is this very giver and source of life, where the spiritual and the physical become one. To reject Him who is the source and giver of life is to embrace that opposite pole of utter darkness where physical infinately deconposes into emptiness.
